Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 21, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Artis platform, including the Artis dashboard, the agents you configure, and the widget or SDK your end users interact with, provided by Artis Solutions Group LLC ("Artis," "we," "us"). By creating an account or clicking "I accept," you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the company you represent ("Customer," "you").
1. Acceptance of Terms
You must accept these Terms to use Artis. If you use Artis on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company, and "you" refers to that company. We record who accepted these Terms, for which company, and when.
2. The Service
Artis lets you build AI voice and chat agents that answer questions, execute actions you map inside your own product, and escalate to a human when appropriate. You are responsible for configuring your agent's knowledge sources, mapped actions, and escalation rules, and for reviewing that your agent behaves as intended before exposing it to your end users.
3. Fees, Invoicing, and Payment
Paid plans are billed on the cycle and at the rate shown at signup or in your order form. Usage that exceeds your plan's included credits is billed as overage or requires a plan upgrade, as described on your billing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. We may suspend access for a materially overdue balance after notice.
4. Data Processing and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share data. Where you upload, connect, or otherwise submit your own business data, knowledge sources, code, or end-user data to Artis ("Customer Data"), you retain ownership of it. You grant us the right to process Customer Data solely to provide and support the Service. You are responsible for having the right to share any Customer Data you provide, including your end users' data.
5. Confidentiality
Each party may access the other's non-public business, technical, or product information in connection with the Service. Each party will use the other's confidential information only to perform under these Terms and will protect it with the same care it uses for its own confidential information, and no less than reasonable care.
6. Feedback
If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or obligation to you.
7. Warranties and Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that agent responses will always be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. You are responsible for reviewing your agent's configuration and behavior before relying on it for anything consequential.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of or related to these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Each party's total liability arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the amounts paid or payable by Customer to Artis in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Artis against third-party claims arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or actions your agent takes based on the configuration you set.
10. Intellectual Property
Artis and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its underlying software, models, and documentation. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service during your subscription term. You retain all rights to your Customer Data and your own trademarks and branding.
11. Suspension of the Service
We may suspend your access to the Service if we reasonably believe your use poses a security risk, violates these Terms, or is unlawful, and we will use reasonable efforts to notify you first unless doing so would itself create a risk.
12. Term and Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you have an active account. Either party may terminate for the other's uncured material breach after written notice. You may delete your company account at any time from your dashboard settings, which will deactivate your agents and initiate deletion of your account data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including infrastructure or third-party service outages, natural disasters, or governmental action.
14. Notices
We may send notices to the email address associated with your account. You may send notices to us at labello@tryartis.com.
15. Assignment
Neither party may assign these Terms without the other's consent, except to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Delaware.
17. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you and may require you to accept the updated Terms in the dashboard before continuing to use the Service.
18. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order form, constitute the entire agreement between you and Artis regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on this subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
