Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Artis Solutions Group LLC ("Artis," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Artis dashboard (app.tryartis.com) or when your end users interact with a voice or chat agent built on Artis and embedded in your product.

Artis is a platform for building AI voice/chat agents that answer questions, take real actions inside your product, and escalate to a human when needed. This policy covers both our own customers (the companies who configure and deploy agents) and the end users who talk to those agents.

1. Information We Collect

Account and workspace data. When you create an Artis account: your name, work email, password (hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase β€” we never see or store it in plain text), company name, size, and industry.

Content you connect. If you connect a code repository (GitHub/Bitbucket), we read (never write to) your repository's file tree, file contents, and code search results to map real UI actions your agent can take. If you connect a knowledge source (Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Notion, Confluence) or upload documents directly, our systems automatically index that content so your agent can answer questions from it. If you connect an escalation tool (Slack, Zendesk, Jira, Microsoft Teams), we use that connection only to create tickets or post messages your agent is configured to send. This processing is automated β€” our team does not manually access or review your connected content beyond what is needed to provide support you request. We do not store your third-party login credentials for these integrations; authentication is handled by our integration provider, Composio.

End-user and conversation data. When someone talks to an agent embedded in your product: the conversation transcript, audio recording (for voice calls), and β€” if you've configured identity verification (HMAC or JWT) β€” whatever identifying information your own backend chooses to pass us (typically a user ID, and optionally name, email, or company). We don't collect anything about your end users beyond what your own integration sends us.

Usage and billing data. Call/chat minutes, actions executed, credits consumed, and standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for the dashboard itself.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the agents you configure β€” answering questions, executing mapped actions, and deciding when to escalate.
  • To process conversations through the AI models that power your agent (see Subprocessors below).
  • To bill you for usage based on your plan.
  • To send transactional email (invitations, password resets, billing/credit alerts) and, if you opt in, product updates.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, and to maintain the security of the platform.
  • To improve Artis β€” we may use aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to improve agent quality; we do not sell personal data, and we do not use your customers' conversation content to train models for anyone other than you.

3. How We Disclose or Share Information

We share data with the following categories of subprocessors, strictly to provide the service:

  • AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) β€” process conversation transcripts and prompts to generate agent responses.
  • Supabase β€” authentication and primary database hosting.
  • Render β€” application hosting infrastructure.
  • Resend β€” transactional email delivery.
  • Composio β€” the integration layer for escalation tools (Slack, Zendesk, Jira, Teams) you explicitly connect.
  • Whatever knowledge/code/escalation providers you explicitly connect yourself (e.g. your own GitHub, Google Drive, or Slack) β€” we only access what you authorize.

We do not sell personal information. We disclose information to third parties beyond the subprocessors above only: with your consent, to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Artis, our customers, or the public.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and, for particularly sensitive fields (widget authentication secrets, staging environment credentials), encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your company/workspace, we stop your agents from operating immediately; underlying records are retained for a limited period for legal, billing, and dispute-resolution purposes before being permanently removed, consistent with our internal data retention schedule.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account information directly from Settings, or contact us at labello@tryartis.com for anything else, including deletion requests from end users of a product that embeds an Artis agent (we'll route these to the relevant customer where appropriate).

7. Children's Privacy

Artis is a business product. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

8. International Users

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required (for example, under the GDPR or UK GDPR for users in the EU/UK), we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for any such transfer.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and β€” for our direct customers β€” may require re-accepting our Terms & Conditions in the dashboard.
